Dexter has always been one of Deb’s biggest confidents, so it’s not surprising she never suspected him of being a killer. It’s been stated that this season she will be thinking back to all of the instances she should have picked up on the clues. But a co-worker at DISH and I agree that she likely overlooked these details due to the fact that he was her brother. This is part of the reason I am convinced she won’t turn him in, but I can’t wait to find out for sure when I watch the season on my Hopper. With my train ride coinciding with this and many other premieres, I couldn’t be more grateful for the 2,000 hours of recording space. I can’t wait to see the journey Deb takes to discovering the “Dark Passenger.” I hope that she finds a way to deal with Dexter, that will be a difficult struggle considering everything she knew was a lie.
